The hacker ChimeraZ claimed to have obtained nearly 800,000 customer records linked to Autosur, a French vehicle-inspection network, and offered them for sale. The victim had not confirmed the claim.

What to do
- This is only a claim by the attackers so far. Do not panic, but do the basics:

- Turn on two-factor authentication, ideally an authenticator app or passkey, not SMS.
