Crédit Mutuel Arkéa reports cyberattack with fraudulent transactions and crypto conversion
The Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group was hit by a cyberattack in which attackers used the bank’s own account to transfer funds to other banks and convert the money into cryptocurrency. The bank confirmed the incident, opened an investigation with the French anti‑cybercrime office and stated that the situation is now under control.
